This plugin has been made free to download, being a template generator plugin for Final Cut Pro X that drops three lines (or less) of text on to a shiny reflective floor. Big Text Drop will do for you the entire animation. All you need is to add it on your timeline, adjust for content and then render. Following a question on a previous tutorial this updated version of the circle plugin allows you to create an animated & dashed circle right on your timeline.
These plugin packs will improve your workflow and add polish to your projects.

One of the most frustrating aspects of editing is the time you have to spend on color correction, noise removal, and adding overlays — especially when you could complete these tasks with a simple drag-and-drop. Luckily for all of us, there are several plugins for Final Cut Pro that will improve the quality of your work and save you time while editing. Let’s look at some of the best bangs for your plugin buck.
1. mTransition Plugin Pack
MotionVFX brings us this easy-to-use plugin for lightning-fast edits. The transitions range from film grain scratches to burns and lens flares. With simple drag-and-drop functionality, this 50-pack boosts the production value of your content, while saving you editing time. You can view a tutorial about the plugin here.
Price: $49
2. Audio DeNoise
Instead of wasting valuable editing time trying to bring down noise in the background, this relatively cheap plugin automatically removes or reduces noise with a simple drag-and-drop. This plugin will save you hours while still allowing you to customize the audio as you see fit. A tutorial for using and accessing the plugin is available here.
Price: $99
3. mVertical
There’s only so much you can do to make the footage shot on a phone appealing and integrate it into your edit. MotionVFX is here to save the day with afree plugin that allows you to add different types of background to the vertical footage filling up the screen. You have three options to choose from for the background: scale, mirror, or copy. In addition, you can alter the background however you’d like by setting its motion, blur, or opacity. A tutorial for applying the plugin is available here.

4. Easy Tracker
This simple, easy-to-use plugin allows FCPX users to track any object in frame, adding titles, images, or custom animations to your shot. This plugin also features a planar tracker that you can apply to screen replacements for televisions, billboards, phones, or theater screens. You will also be able to track objects in 3D.
Price: $99
5. Primatte Keyer

Remove your green screen with the click of a button. This chroma-keying plugin will pull an excellent key while also correcting any uneven lighting, producing a much cleaner background removal. Of the many plugins Red Giant offers, Primatte Keyer seems to be the best bargain for what you get.
Side Note: Red Giant offers a free trial for users skeptical about paying the full price. Also, a special discount is available for students and teachers.
Price: $499
6. mLut Plugin Pack
This mLut plugin organizes cinematic look up tables in an easily accessible and preview-able fashion inside the effects browser. Just drag and drop the mLut package onto your footage and decide which look best fits your story. After you’ve applied the look, customization is easy, allowing users to fine tune the footage for the desired grade. A tutorial for applying the plugin is available here.

7. Feature Overlays

The biggest selling point for this free FCPX plugin is the absolute necessity of these overlays for editors submitting their work to other post production departments. Adding a header, a label, and two timecode accounts for the various VFX, sound, and other editorial departments is easy. In addition to adding the timecode, you can customize the size and color to work with whatever guidelines you’re being asked to follow.
